Nice product and exatly as advertised.. Light weight and easy to handle even though it is physically large. I use it to trim and size by custom car showboards and display boards at Palmieri Concepts design studios.

I wanted to get one of these self-healing mats for sewing projects since they extend the life of expensive rotary cutting blades, and using the rotary blades when you can instead of shears saves so much time and increases accuracy. The markings on the mat are probably slightly different on the mats offered by sewing brands (eg Olfa and Fiskars), but I can't say it matters much to me when the quality of cutting surface is equal at half the price. The size of the mat is really good for small sewing projects; I imagine it would be great for quilt-type projects, too.
