Description:

X-ACTO 15" x 15" Square 3/4" solid wood base trimmer cuts up to 15 sheets. Guillotine blade has the X-ACTO hardened steel blade with its perpetual edge self-sharpening system. Safety guard helps keep fingers away from blade. Additional safety latch attached to the base for the guillotine arm. Trimmer board is printed with English and metric grids to aid in precision cutting.

I have the pencil sharpener pictured and needed to replace the blade. I purchased the blade and my sharpener works like new. The cost to replace the blade was cheaper than purchasing a new one. I recommend that if you have a sharpener of the same brand to replace the blade with this one. You'll save a lot of money. The picture can be misleading, but if you read the description it says it's a cutter not the sharpener!! It is also very easy to replace and comes with instructions.

I'm very disappointed; just received my package and it only had a very small box enclosed containing a sharpener. The photo and description for this item shows a pencil sharpener which is what I thought I had purchased.

The picture shows a cutter assembly including the housing and replacement drive gear. That's the "unit" I thought I was ordering. Instead, I received just the two cutter blades. The price is way too high for just the cutter blades, but it's more hassle to return them than it's worth. Be warned.
