Excellent Thermal CarafeJun 21, 2009

This Thermal Carafe keeps my coffee hot all day without wasting energy by continuously heating it in a pot. It's a great product. My only warning for people is that once you start drinking the coffee, the last cup tends only to be lukewarm instead of hot. If you keep the thermos full though, it'll stay hot for at least 12 hours.

Ditto, ditto, ditto to the first review. I bought mine at least 16 years ago at a Starbucks and have used it almost every day since. Still keeps my morning pot of starbucks hot all day but looks soooo grungy I have to replace it. Been looking all over for it and just thought I'd search online. Thank you Amazon.com!!!

This is the second Thermos (Nissan) steel carafe I've had. The first was a wedding present 16 years ago. It worked like a trouper until recently, when the gaskets were exhausted, the bottom was rusted, and it had been dropped dozens of time and no longer kept the coffee hot. Fifteen years far outdoes any glass-lined thermos I've ever had, so I bought another just like the first.

Very pleased with this purchase! I've used this thurmus for 3 mths & it has been wonderful. I pour my coffe in it at 7:30am & don't get to drink it until around 1pm, which is much longer then the 4hrs they say it will keep things hot. When I drink my coffee it is even hotter then when I poured it that morning. I'm very impressed with this purchase and would deffinently purchase another!

I have been making both earl grey tea in here and coffeee. One always ends up having flavors of the other no matter how much you scrub this thing. Otherwise, this carafe is perfect. Beautiful. Practical. Keeps things very very hot.
