Very Reliable and Durable StaplerFeb 03, 2010

When I finally had it with my cheap plastic Office Depot stapler, I looked through our catalog to order office supplies (we have to use a specific vendor for our office supplies) and saw they carried primarily Swingline and Bostitch staplers.

I remembered that Milton had this Red 747 Swingline from the movie Officespace and did some research. The 767 appears to be a more modernized and updated stapler made all out of metal. I have an old Bates metal stapler at home that will punch staples through paper without failure so I wanted a metal stapler.

The Swingline 767 is not a flat punching stapler, and it is rated for 2-20 sheets. At 20 sheets, one side of the staple won't always make a perfect "ear loop" for whatever reason, but it staples through 20 sheets reliably. At 10-15 sheets, it makes a perfect staple. I verified it will even handle 30 sheets without any problems using standard 210 1/4" staples.

Bottom line: It is well worth the money because it is solid, durable, and reliable. Time will tell if it maintains this reliability through several "tours of duty" in the office.

Love this stapler!!! We use it a lot, and haven't had any problems with it! No jamming, no pounding it to staple papers together, and no pinched fingers! I frequently staple 25 pages together at a time...always perfect!
