I was surprised when the eraser arrived because it was of better quality than expected. As a retired teacher of mathematics, I feel that I am a good judge of erasers because I spent 30 years using them at chalkboards.

This eraser works ok on my chalkboard, but it is made with paper top and not very good quality, so I don't expect it to last very long. Would recommend paying a little more and getting better quality material

The Sparco Chalkboard Eraser is an all-felt eraser that promises no dust. Using it at home on my chalkboard-painted wall, I noticed it cleaned up without creating dust. I don't have any other erasers to compare it to, but it seems light and compact. It's easy enough for my 2 year old to handle, but big enough to cover a decent area. The felt pads are very tall, so it's not as stiff as the ones I've used in school. It seems durable, but I will update in the future.

This is the staple of the teaching world. The teachers don't even think about it, they just reach for it and erase everything. It's automatic for it to be there and this brand is the best. It lasts a long time, cleans over & over again.

This eraser gets our colored and white chalk off of our easel chalkboard. (We like the Prang chalk. The Crayola colored chalk is horrible!)
