I really prefer my UX with the standard battery because of comfort, weight and lool, the problem is that the standard doesn't last any long.

This battery it's by far the most expensive battery i've ever bought in all my life, make you use your palm sized personal computer for at least 3 hours which is good.

It's on the weighty side which is not so good and adds too much to the size of the computer.

If you have the Sony leather case for the Vaio UX series, the computer won't fit in the case with this battery on.

It is very clear that if what you need is more battery life, you'll be pleased by the performance of this battery that even when not as good as a MacBook battery performance, it's certainly good compared to the standard batt but at a cost. (money, weight and size)

Some day in the near future, maybe we'll see standard sized batt which lasts for about 6 hours and then i'll really be glad to shell +/- $300 for it but for now, it is a necessary evil.

You can work with this battery minimally four hours. It is a good option for mobile workers. It is expensive but a good option.

I am very pleased i bought this battery, it gives me plenty of time to do what i need to do. I have been able to work on my new vaio up to three hours. I do believe it is worth the money down to the last penny.

I was getting tired of the standard battery dying after just a couple of hours of use so I decided to splurge and buy the extended battery. The extra capacity makes a huge difference, so much so that I never run into low battery warnings in between regular charging of the unit.

The added size of the extended battery makes for a great handle for holding the UX, and the added weight (which was my biggest concern before purchase) has not made it more difficult to hold it for extended periods.
