The Sharp EL-2196BL is the best.Apr 27, 2005

I had the Sharp VX 1652 Calculator and it was starting to slow down a bit. Used it for 17 years. This is the exact key position as the VX 1652, so no adjustment period. Everything has been improved. Love the Calendar and Clock. And the Black color is great to have. Recommend it highly.

Prices of desk-top calculators continue to come down. But the quality of the products remains high. This is a wonderful calculator. I have been using Sharp products all my life...and will continue to do so!

My only complaint is that the product was pictured as 'off-white' in color; but what I received was all black. Not a huge deal; but I would like to have known prior to purchasing.

I wanted a solid and easy to use calculator. This one fits the bill perfectly. I debated purchasing the lighter weight Sharp model, but am glad I selected this one. It does have a significant 'footprint' so you need a roomy desk, but it is quiet and there is no wobble when I use it, which I find irritating with smaller and lighter machines.
