Description:

Be versatile! Cabinetry is formed from compressed wood with laminate finish with a solid fiberboard back for strength and rigidity. The strong hardboard shelves form basic letter-sized compartments that adjust to increase the size of individual compartments for storage of books, 3-ring binders or personal mementos. Includes a metal rod adapter to store and organize CD's in the bottom two compartments. Black plastic molding complements finish while doubling as a convenient labeling area.

We have it next to the printer - like the fact that you can adjust the shelves after it is put together. Easy to assemble. Looks a bit pre-fab, but not bad (definitely better than those plastic paper organizers and is much sturdier).

Very Disappointing because there is NO way I could have put this together myself. My husband was finally able to figure out the sheet with NO instructions in words....only pictures and a couple of gadgets that we couldn't figure out WHAT they were for!!! But anyway, we got it together finally and it looks beautiful (the medium oak) and does the job of holding all our stuff and keeping it organized so that's what counts!!!

I am very pleased with this organizer! It is sturdy, well-designed and relatively easy to assemble with a hammer. It is exactly what I was needed to sort my papers. I like how the plastic piece on the front of each shelf restrains the shelf against the supports to help keep it from pulling out.

The organizer gives the choice of up to 16 shelves with lots of flexibility in shelf support placement. You can also use the bottom two shelves as an optional CD organizer. The pre-glued wood dowels (activated with water) are easy to use.

My only complaints are regarding the assembly instructions. It gives an extensive parts list, but the rest is mostly pictures. The parts are not labeled but are not too difficult to figure out. Be sure that the finished edges are all on the same side (the instructions do say this much). Also, be sure to gently hammer the dowels in as far as they will go, because the dowel will push out the top or bottom panels (thankfully, gently hammering the portion that pushed out made it barely noticeable).
