Description:

Adjustable workstation saves space and secures your CPU and printer with a heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame and 3/4" thick compressed wood shelves. Height adjusts from 29" to 34". Keyboard and monitor shelf adjusts in a 5" range. Printer shelf adjusts up to 1" increments. Keyboard shelf extends 9-3/4" and retracts under the work surface when not in use. Decorative molded, snap-in side panels hide computer cables for a clean appearance. Workstation includes four casters (two locking) for easy mobility. Work surface measures 35-1/2" wide x 19-3/4" deep. Keyboard shelf is 30-3/4" wide x 13-1/2" deep. Bottom shelf for printer measures 31-1/2" wide x 13-1/2" deep.

Fits my needs to a tee!Feb 06, 2011

I have back problems and am very short-waisted. Finding an adjustable desk that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and has good quality is a challenge. This one fits the bill. It is sturdy, rolls very well on the casters, the keyboard shelf is just the right height, and the overall surface areas are a very good size (hold all I need to without squeezing or overpowering). It was easy to put together - just pay attention to the direction of the screw holes on the mounting panels (I thought I was but missed an important detail and had to take it apart and redo). I am satisfied with the color (chose the gray due to the price difference). It is clean and neat looking (as long as I don't clutter it up!).

After looking at numerous adjustable computer desks, including at the local office supply store, it seemed that they were all very cheap and asked a lot of money for the value.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this Safco desk.
It came well packed and included all the necessary hardware including a wrench and allan wrench.
It actually arrived almost a week ahead of the estimated delivery date.
The condition was perfect.
Instructions were easy (make sure you pay attention to the detail of the legs orientation).
You can adjust the height of the desk top.
You can adjust the height of the keyboard tray.
You can adjust the height of the CPU shelf on the bottom.
I placed a 24" monitor on the desk top which gives me plenty of room for speakers, papers, etc also on the desk top. The construction is so solid and well built you can easily attach a computer monitor arm fully articulated giving you even more room for items on top of the desk top.
The keyboard tray is large enough for both regular size keyboard and mouse with lots of room to spare.
Very nicely finished giving a luxury look to it.

This is a quality product, solidly built, looks great-like a piece of furniture rather than a cheap place to put your computer. I highly recommend it for those reasons and excellent price.

I was very pleased with this item. It was pretty easy to put together although the wheels need to be punched pretty hard to engage the casters into the stems. Try not to gash your hand while doing it like I did. You might use a soft mallet and tap them in carefully. Otherwise, watch your fists should you decide to punch them together. The hardware is easy to work with and the whole thing fits together rather nicely and snug.

The quality of the boards is excellent and the whole framework is durable and well made. I'm always suspicious about eveything that is made in the orient because there is so much cheap stuff coming from China but this was made in Taiwan and is of a different quality than mainland China stuff.

If you purchase this desk you'll be glad you did. It's worth it and quite attractive. I got the cherry color and it looks rich and sleek. I need to pat myself on the shoulder for making a good choice!

Standing is so much easier on the backMay 12, 2012

I decided after trying many arrangements witn my computer to try standing up. This was affordable and relatively easy to assemble, though I couldn't have done it without the help of my husband. The instructions are all pictures and need to be followed carefully.

I've been using it now for a few months and love working standing up. I have it placed in front of a window where I look out frequently lowering eye strain. I tend to walk around the room when I talk to people since I'm not tied to a desk. When I need to write notes, I go back to my machine

Don't expect something you can raise and lower as this one really is best suited to staying in one place. You can, however mount a power strip so you can relocate it to a different place in the office or home.

And my back is extraordinarily happy with this set up.

I looked at at lot of computer tables, wanting one in wood and metal. The local stores had wood and metal tables but were very cheap and expensive.
After reading reviews on other tables at Amazon, many had the same disappointing observations on several of the tables.

I CAN TELL YOU THAT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPUTER TABLE HOWEVER.

It arrived a week earlier than the estimated date.
Arrived in very good condition. It is packed very well and solidly. All parts were included.
The quality is first rate. The edges of the surfaces are nicely finished off and the veneer looks like a quality piece of furniture. The side supports are solid and very nicely finished. This table has a quality look and feel to it. Overall a very solid piece of furniture. I ordered the fully adjustable one which was nice.
You can adjust the bottom shelf to accommodate various sizes of CPUs.
You can adjust the height of the keyboard tray.
You can adjust the height of the table top.
The keyboard tray is wide enough to accommodate both standard keyboard and mouse on the same tray.
I put a 24" monitor on the table top and have plenty of room for papers, speakers, and misc.
Overall, I would highly recommend this computer table for its quality of construction, features, and prompt delivery....no need to keep looking at all the cheap stuff out there.
