COLOUR:

First of all, it's BLACK and, as our office furniture is Black, this was a must from an aesthetic point-of-view. However, as 'Form Follows Function', I was not about to skimp on QUALITY.

QUALITY, MATERIALS, DURABILITY:

I've had the plastic Wall Files before, and found them to not only look cheap but, in time, get scratched and dull-looking, so, thought I'd take a chance on this One-Pocket, Letter-Size Mesh Wall File; and, boy, am I glad I did.

Being 'Mesh', I was concerned about the QUALITY of craftmanship, but my worries were put to rest when it was delivered to my house. Running my fingers over the Unit, I can say there are NO SHARP EDGES, no pieces of wire sticking out anywhere, no papers or folders to get hung-up on unfinished edging.

I was amazed at how STURDY the Wall Pocket is. Short of stepping on it and crushing it, this thing is tough... so much moreso than the plastic files which have to be handled very gingerly or else you'll crack/break them.

SPECIFIC USE & INSTALLATION:

I got 3 Five-Pocket, Letter-Sized Mesh Wall Files too, (for all the projects I'm working on), but really needed a spot JUST FOR BILLS, and the SINGLE-POCKET unit accomplished just that.

I attached it to the side of my desk, (a very easy task that took about two minutes... you screw the unit in with the two screws and two plastic thingys that are supplied in the box ), and now, when I'm sitting at my desk sorting the mail, I have an oh-so-handy-dandy place to just drop my Bills into that is within reach and within sight.

SUMMARY:

I'm very, VERY pleased with this SINGLE-POCKET, LETTER-SIZED MESH WALL FILE... it's a GOOD product, STURDY and STYLISH, and is sold at a DECENT PRICE-POINT.

It's one of those products that actually satisfies. Instead of mumbling to yourself, 'Gee, I wish it did this', or, 'I wish it had that', you put it to use right out of the box and are happy with the results of your purchase.

A couple of years ago, I order three stackable plastic see-through wall pockets and attached them to my door. It wasn't long before the plastic around the screw holes cracked and broke and the clear plastic began to be smudged and look dirty.

Enter the black mesh pocket and voila! It solved all my problems and very attractively I might add. The black is a nice, low-key touch that works with contemporary or traditional environments and the mesh is nice and sturdy.

I am ecstatic with this product and recommend it highly.

This wall file pocket is very professional, more attractive than plastic pockets, and is built very solidly. I have it mounted on the back of a wooden door where it takes lot's of frequent loading / unloading abuse without problems. I am very pleased with this item and would recommend it to anyone.
