cork color deceivingMar 24, 2006

This is a nice cork board; however, the cork color online is deceiving. It is called "colored cork" because the cork is made of tiny specks of different colors, with a definite tendency toward BLUE.. So, when looking at the overall color, the cork appears blue/gray, not tan.

Just received this for new home office remodel. It looks absolutely beautiful. However, the bulletin board part is not as sturdy or thick as the ugly ones you see at Walmart. Every time I pin something to the board it pushes in the whole area around where I am tacking. The cork part is not flush with wall - there is an empty space between corkboard and wall while the frame touches the wall. That being said we ordered the 48" x 36" and it may seem a bit flimsy because of the sheer size of the board. Frame solid, cork part not so much. Also the cork is actually a very thin coating over another type of board.

I received these two cork boards defective and previsouly returned from another company with there return slip still in the box. Now they will not send me new ones b/c I am not with in the 14 days. I just want to replacement! Terrible!
