I got a great price (w/free shipping) on a pair of these to replace the Woofers in a set of Cerwin Vega D-7 cabinets. They sound really good in my bike shop. I may try to repair the old woofers with custom foam kits and put them back as I have another set of 12" speaker cabinets that the Pyles will fit. But right now these are sounding great and like I say, I got a super deal.

I bought three of these to replace blown woofers in my PA monitors. Driven by my 500W channel mixer, these sound great, brighter than the originals and can handle the bass. I also drive them with my guitar amp head on occasion, sound great here too.

They came promptly as ordered via UPS in factory packaging. Only downside is the cone material had dried mold growth on the back of the speakers. Poorly translated manual, some of the typos are laughable.

I bought these woofers to replace some MTX car woofers in my Kenwood home speakers as I needed 8 ohm woofers instead of 4 ohm. I blew one of them within an hour of hard use with a 100 watt receiver. They sound tight and good but the MTX will blow them in the weeds with moving much more air and volume. Amazon fired me a new one right away, I printed a postage label to send the old one back, so it didn`t cost anything for postage, was happy with the service. Maybe the one was just defective, I don`t know but I`m afraid to really crank them for long because they get hot and the voice coils will burn out I`m afraid. I`m told Pyle is part of Pyramid, a cheapo brand, you can usually tell by the over-inflated power- handling ratings and broken English paperwork included. If you push your speakers hard I would recommend a better brand, if you listen at medium volume they will work fine as long as you replace them as a pair because the volume is lower than a more efficient speaker. I ordered 2 12`s and 2 8`s, they shipped them in 2 boxes (they would have fit into one of the boxes), they gouged me on the shipping charges.

Great 8ohm woofer. Not just for PA. Nice bass...loud...handles heavy load. I'm powering these at 125 amps (Max) But probaby would sound great with lower and higher loads.

I purchased this woofer to go in the custom Sub cabinet that I built years ago. I have always enjoyed the sound of a sub for TV/Movies/Music and the old driver in the cabinet gave up the good fight from years of daily use. This woofer is great. I didn't realize how sloppy the old worn out woofer had become. This Pyle woofer sounds tight and has plenty of punch. I knew it was a winner when my kids came in from outside to inform me that they could "feel" the sound of what I was watching(I tested it with battle scenes from the Lord of the Rings trilogy). With a good cabinet and quality amp teaming up with this woofer, you can't go wrong.
