When I purchased this sub woofer I didn't expect to hear a lot of punching bass, but I was wrong. This sub can push out a lot of bass, not as much as my Rockfords, but enough to rattle the glass of my Chevy Suburban. For the money you cannot go wrong with this sub!

I bought a pair of these speakers for my 95 Golf. All my friends laughed at me, saying they will never play bass. Their laughter was quickly silenced when installed the speakers. They are powered by a 300Watt Phoenix Gold amp.
The bass will not rattle your mirrors, but it is solid enough to give a great sounding music. They played better than i was expecting for $25. I am very satisfied with them.
I recommend them to anyone who is not looking for earth shattering bass or is on a budget.

I purchased these for my daughter's car along with a Kenwood 1000 watt amp and they perform great. I have seen some reviews where people dogged these subs, but apparently they went with what was "cool" at the time. Yes Rockford Fosgate are good, so are diamond and JBL and JL Audio and Kicker, but I blew out my windshield with a pair just like this in high school so I knew their capabilities. If the box is designed to the specs they provide from Pyle you will get great performance. So far the system I built for her has removed my daughters rear view mirror from her car and made various plastic interior pieces loose. We couldn't be happier! Box has approx. 2.75 cubic ft. per sub, sealed enclosure with 1000 watt kenwood amp in bridge mode and 1K Farad capacitor and pioneer head unit.

Amazing you see this cheap price and think low qaulity but wrong. I have this sub sitting across from a kicker12" 1200watt comp subwoofer and this sub puts out twice the bass easily and itis made to last by the looks of it i suggest a big subwoofer box and buy two of these and your set this sub will out due anyother in its class
