I bought this amplifier over a year ago. Yes it still works just fine. This amp does get hot fast, but it will blow if you have anything less than a 4olhm load when bridged, but its a pretty decent amplifier especially for the money. The "max" rating is not what you should ever go by, go by the rms and for this it is 150 watts per channel or 300 watts bridged at 4 ohms. If you have it set up correctly it will last. DO NOT run anything under 2 ohms in stereo (2 channel) or 4 ohms bridged (mono or single channel). if you buy this amp and are new to all this and are unsure of what all this means feel free to ask and I'll help you out.

Reading other reviews, don't know what they want??? this is great, works perfect, have it for almost a year, giving no problems. Just be aware it really has power, so if you don't have speakers that can handle it, those speakers could get burned!!

I purchased this amplifier in October 2011. I went to have this installed today 4/2012. I found that the amplified is not working! I need to send it back but now I am told that I can only get half my money back. Not good business. This amplifier is in the original box and has never been opened until now to find it isn't working. I feel I should receive a full refund! Not half of my money....

I purchased a smaller Pyle amp a long time ago. (I think it was the Pyle 1400 watt 2 channel) I loved it so much I bought another one for my other car. I dont know why people talk bad about Pyle. ITS A GOOD BRAND!! this amp is currently pushing 2 kicker cvrs in a chevy cobalt. It hits pretty good and Im happy with it.

ive had no problems with this amp i have 2 12s going off of it bridged and havent had any problems.i do wish the hook ups were larger for a bigger gauge wire but what ya gunna do
