NOT a Plantronics Braded BatteryDec 21, 2011

This Battery was NOT a branded Plantronics battery as the picture so clearly shows. I paid extra because I wanted an 'authentic', 'branded' battery. While the battery does appear to work, I clearly overpaid compared to other batteries. Buy from someone else selling generics and pay 50% less! Save your money.

They lied. The photo and description shows Plantronics, but the batteries received are NOT. Why does AMAZON, who I rely on for honesty, allow this? I bought this because it was described as Original Equipment. I Hope they work OK because I'm stuck with them (bought 2). I expect some sort of compensation as the non-Plantronics batteries were less than 1/2 the price.

As other reviewers have pointed out, the battery I received is not Plantronics branded as depicted in the picture. The battery I received is in a blue wrapper with printing that says 'LITHIUM ION POLYMER Li-ion 3.75V 240mAh MADE IN CHINA'.
But it works fine! Have only had it 1 day, though.
**Customer Service**
I had a problem with the first battery I was sent. The red wire lead from battery to white connector broke as I attempted to connect it to my CS50 headset, and I had to call for a replacement. Actually, I both called and emailed -- both methods of contact are offered in the mailer I was sent with the battery. I got a live human on the phone, and he sent me a replacement that same day. He did not ask me to send the old one back, he did not make me go through some rigorous RMA process. He just stuck it in the mail! I also got an email response later that same day confirming that my replacement battery was shipped. Replacement battery arrived as expected, and it worked perfectly fine.
5 stars for customer service.

Arrived right on time. My headset had already dies and it gets heavy daily use. I let it charge over night and I can go through 9 hours of marathon meetings with no issues.

Plantronics replacement battery CS52Feb 05, 2011

I have had my CS50 headset for 7yrs now and the last time I replaced my battery I tried a cheaper replacement. The first one was the wrong size, I was sent a different one that worked but wasn't really the exact size. This is the correct replacement. Spend the extra money it is well worth it. It fits right and lasts longer.
