Being a designer, I'm a bit of a pen/pencil snob. Before discovering this pen I swore by the Pilot V Razor extra fine points but now, I've been fully converted. This pen provides an even flow of ink and the perfect size tip. I typically write rather small so the super fine point works well for my writing style. Sleek design that's not painted on (won't rub off on your hands) and a clever silver topper. Minimalist but professional. I'd recommend this pen over every other.

I write a lot and this is my favorite pen. It is very smooth, yet has enough grip on the paper. It is stiff, yet has enough yield. Words streaming out of it have 'characters', instead of just lifeless mechanical markings. The pen has created a very nice writing experience for me.

One drawback is that the head tends to become worn out of shape before the ink is used up (perhaps unavoidable given the required softness). Also, once in a while, the head is pushed back into the stem, as another user pointed out, but this does not happen often.

I have used various other pens. The writing experience of this one is just so much more superior. I have used it for over ten years.

I've been using these Pilot Razor Point pens for over ten years and I wouldn't use anything else. They have a beautiful super fine point that never leaks and they last for a very long time. I usually buy a dozen at a time to be sure I'll never be caught without one. Really love 'em!

As a designer, we all have strange needs when it comes to our writing instruments. Well, this one is mine.

I love the fine point of the Razor II and cannot seem to find this pen at many locations, thus I buy them in bulk from Amazon because I am always losing them to friends who try mine and end up keeping them.

These pens don't spit, they don't over ink anything - it is a beautiful tip that has never been bettered in the years it has been around.

Best pen for the money out there!!!!!

This is the perfect pen for quick sketching and inking over graphite drawings. I love them because the flow ink is smooth and consistent. I personally love them because the ink can be blurred after drying using a brush with some water, so shading in quick sketches in my notebook is fast and easy. These pens allow for an ultra delicate touch. It's the only pen I use for sketching, and you can't beat the price. I have $6 and $9 pens that do not flow nearly as well.
