I've used Dr. Grip pens for years with the skinny medium point rollerball ink refills. I purchased a dozen packages of refills about 5 years ago and shortly after I bought them, my last remaining Dr. Grip pen got broke in half. About that time, Pilot began selling the gel ink pens with the short fat cartridge refills, and the rollerball pens, though few and far between anywhere in stores, also had the short fat cartridge refills. I had been searching all these past 5 years looking for a Dr. Grip that used the old refills, and thanks to Amazon, I finally found one! Thank you Amazon.

Perfect for crossword puzzlesJan 16, 2012

I normally use fountain pens or a liquid gel pen. But for crossword puzzles I prefer a ballpoint pen so if I am unsure of the answer I can write lightly and get just a faint line. This pen is perfect! Always consistent, and based on pressure can produce a barely visible letter or a thick black letter. It is known only as "Norman's crossword-puzzle pen." If you like ballpoints, or if you happen to need a ballpoint to do what only ballpoints can do, this is your pen.

I bought these pens and their refills for years and then couldn't find them in stores. It was very frustrating. So, I was thrilled to find them on Amazon.

This pen is really advantageous for me because I have arthritis and the worst joints in my body are my hands and wrists. Not having to grip a skinny little pen really helps. The pens hold up to heavy usage and it's great that they are refillable.

I AM SO VERY HAPPY WITH AMAZON FIRST AND FORMOST. PLUS HAVING LARGE ARTHRITIC HANDS THE DR GRIP PENS BY PILOT ARE PERFECT IN STRUCTURE AND THE PRICE IS OK. I WOULD LOVE TO GET A DEAL SOMETIME ON THE COST BECAUSE I WRITE A LOT IT IS EXERCISE FOR MY FINGERS. ALL N ALL I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY SHOPPING AND PRODUCT SELECTION WITH AMAZON AND PILOT.
