Great Pen to Use For Chronic PainNov 30, 2010

This is my fourth Dr. Grip pen - they did not break, I lost two of them. The Dr. Grips are well constructed and easy on the hands. The ink flows well and the pen glides smoothly, using the medium point refills. I don't like the fine point refills because they skip and the roller ball sometimes gets stuck. The area where you grip the pen is a bit firm for my tastes. I'd prefer more cushion.

Even with the cushioning issue, it's the most comfortable pen I've used. It was shipped very fast and the packaging is sound.

I have athritis in my hands and writing is very painful at times. The Pilot people got this one just right. I can hold and use this pen painlessly! I love to write by hand and have missed that ability for many years. Thank you Pilot for bringing that pleasure back. (and I am in no way affiliated with Pilot) Just a very happy customer! I love this pen so much I purchased three more to keep around the house at various locations where I often want to jot something down.

I have the gel version of this pen, and I have been using it for about 3 years. This is the most comfortable pen you can have for the price range it's in, and has yet to break in the 3 years I've been using it on a daily basis. The only drawback (on the gel version) is that it runs out of ink quickly, and has to be refilled often. Still, the refills are easy to find and easy to change. Awsome product!

They're well worth the price, they stay 'wet' and work all the time, I have one in my car in Chicago where pens notoriously do not work or explode in the bone cold winter but these did not and continued working and I knew they would 'cause i've had em before. Buy a couple refills they last until you wear out the gel. ;)
