    We got this for our child to keep her busy on long trips. We were looking at a full portable DVD player, but I already had a PSP. I found only three faults, 1) a tangle of wires, 2) the speakers only work when the unit is plugged into an exterior power source (wall outlet or car port, 3) limited children's umd. It still beats $150-$400 for a portable DVD player.

    This was perfect. I can use my PSP for a in car entertainment for my Son. I just put the digital versions of the movies on the expansion chip. I had to make some minor adjustments because I had a PSP-2000 instead of the PSP-1000 this was designed for, but not too much.

    I have had this now for a while and it hasn't failed.
