I always buy original OKI products now after I have tried other non OEM OKI products and seen the results in the printing quality, especially with the color non OEM cartridges!

Item Intended for Sale at StaplesJun 23, 2012

So I got this item not knowing what I was getting into. This item comes with a label on it. Label states THIS ITEM INTENDED FOR SALE AT Staples. IF FOUND AT OTHER OUTLETS, CALL 1-866-877-3836.

The number turns out to be Ethics Hotline which investigates items sold outside Staples. Now after printing just a few hundred pages, the toner is out of ink. Hence paying $27 means I purchased product which was not as advertised and probably it was a display item for in-store use. Hence it is out of ink.

Received this merchandise in a timely manner. It is a replacement for toner that had run out and needed quickly. I find Amazon a relialable site for purchases and can find good prices. I saved about $50 by purchasing from Amazon rather than the manufacturer.

I've used off brands in the past and they just don't deliver the quanity and quality that Okidata cartridges do.

Oki 5100C is still the workhorse for our small office. Have tried recycled toner cartridges (that cost less) but they seem to have a lower page count. They end up costing more in the long run. OEM cartridges worth the extra payout.
