5The Best of The Best!!!...Nov 17, 2003

An old RCA Engineer... Any APC product has always far exceeded my expectations. I just ordered one of these, and I thought I would pass along that this is the best surge protector APC offers with only 40v "let through" (most "good ones" are rated at 300V), also this one will "kill itself" if necessary to protect your equipment. Other protectors will loose their protection circuitry and keep your equipment connected. I have many stories from personal experience giving kudos to this company's products, but I gotta go.

5Excellent. Protects Equipment as advertisedFeb 24, 2010
By Edgar Kuck
This is classic no frills unit that performs and protects as advertised. This was proven during a winter storm with multiple electrical power surges. The surges caused my old Surge Arrest 7's internal circuity to open, which cut off power and protected plugged-in components from damage. The unit sacrificed itself in order to save other components. APC, which offers a lifetime no hassle guarantee on this model, sent a replacement unit within one week.

5APC Net7 surge protectorMay 09, 2009
By Arnold J. Kohn "herbiesson"
My previous APC surge protector failed during a power surge. This is actually a good thing, and saved my equipment. Neighbors on my block were not so fortunate. I am pleased with APC, and that's why I purchased this replacement. Delivery prompt, as usual for Amazon.com.

5Excellent ProtectionMay 28, 2006

I have used these protectors in Africa in areas with very high lightning incidence and not had any damage to computers or equipment they protected. Highly recommended. Quality construction, components and design.

2Network?Jul 08, 2009

Don't let the name "Network SurgeArrest" fool you. There is no network surge protection, just 7 regular old power outlets. I'm sure it's a fine surge protector/power strip, but why slap the name "Network" on it? It has nothing to do with networks!
