This combination Printer/Scanner/Copier is attractive, easy to setup & use and produces good output. It is excellent value for the $. It is my 2nd Lexmark wireless & I'm a fan.

It's a printer and it's wireless. It's all I really expected from this machine, and it delivers. It also creates very nice quality copies, too.

I only ran into two issues with this product.

The first was that it came with the wrong ink, so I had to call up Lexmark to have them send me a replacement. Luckily, it was a pain free and quick process. Within three days I had the proper ink cartridge and was ready to go. Although Lexmark should seriously look into these kinds of quality control issues.

My other issue is that this printer is SLOW. It easily takes from 8-10 minutes to print out 6 pages worth of slide notes for my class. So if you need really fast printing, then you might want to stay away from this one.

NOTE: I do my printing from Mac OS X 10.6.2, so the experience may be a bit quicker if using Windows, although I don't have much experience in using this product with that OS.

I purchased this printer to allow me to use it for two laptops - my personal laptop and my work laptop. It arrived promptly and well packaged. The setup was easy with one small hiccup. I called into the Lexmark help desk and they identified the problem right away (my company firewall was blocking the wireless signal). The print quality is just fine for what I use this for - but I'm not trying to print pictures or anything high quality. I can send to the printer from anywhere in my house which is great as I do often like to change the scenery for my work space. The printer is much quieter than other ink jets I have had before. All in all, I'm quite pleased.

Will not scan over wifi to Mac.Feb 21, 2010
I recently bought this printer from BJ's for $49.00. The printer prints well over my wifi network. However, everyday since I got this printer I had to call tech support to get help because the printer will not print over the wifi. It consistently gets stuck "downloading the application list". It will scan if I connect the cable, but I can't get it to scan over the wifi. I just recently emailed Lexmark to complain and I am considering returning it to the store or Lexmark (if possible).

Printing is easy. Scanning hasn't worked in the week that I a have owned it.

Hey, for what I paid, I know...I wasn't expecting miracles. It did set up more easily than I thought it would; I was apprehensive about the wireless part. It quickly became apparent, though, that for a job to get to it from either computer, get processed, and actually get printed took longer--much longer--than I was used to or expected. Scanning is not as easy as it should be, either--not by any means.
I could have lived with those things, as annoying as they were. The deal-breaker for me was that after a few months, the paper feed went bad (and we're NOT a high-volume printing household), ripping the center of the top of every page, then ceasing to feed at all. Every job got a "paper jam" message and automatically cancelled. A little Googling showed me that this is a common problem.
I probably wouldn't have contacted customer service, because for one, I'm usually not responsible enough to send in the warranty card on a $60 item and couldn't remember if I had on this thing, so I'd be embarrassed to call. Secondly, as I somewhat aggressively put new paper in it after it had ruined several new sheets (You can empathize, can't you? You've been there, right? No, I do NOT have anger management issues. I swear), the back of the printer broke. As in, came apart. I mean, if you're going to make a product that is going to cause this degree of consumer frustration, it should be able to take it little more of a licking than that.
I won't buy another. I can't afford the therapy that will have to accompany it.
