1Basic design flaw almost assures eventual failureSep 14, 2010
By Arthur Held
PROs:
Three possible angle settings
Reasonable sized pad for resting your feet
Easy assembly/adjustment
Professional appearance
Low cost

CONs:
Weak design (major): The two pads that rest on the floor and support the weight of your legs each extend beyond their support point with the foot board. This places them under constant stress. They are made of weak plastic. After about 14 months of intermittent use, one broke and the other shows white stress-fracture lines.

Slightly noisy: since there is no padding on the foot rest surface, the sounds of shoe movement and the creaking of the plastic under stress tend to be amplified.

Bottom line: In about two years a better quality, quieter unit will pay for itself, and you save yourself the frustration of sending more plastic to the landfill.

5sturdy yet lightweightNov 02, 2008
By M. Stahl
This is a sturdy yet lightweight plastic footrest. The feet can be inserted in two places giving you an option in the angle and height. I can reposition the footrest with my feet, but it won't slip on it's own.

Remember to check the legs of your chair to make sure you'll be able to position a foot rest where you want it.

Five stars because it's well worth the price tag and works just as described.

4worksJan 07, 2010

Works as intended. Is made of plastic but never felt that it might break under my feet. I don't see it under the desk but it helps to keep my legs well positioned and relieves my back.

3It helps anyhow.Jun 15, 2009
By Ayatsuri Ningyo "- "Ayatsuri Ningyo""
I got this because I was on a budget, and yes, I can tell. It is rather cheap, and I am a bit worried about breaking it accidentally. However it does basically do what one needs it to do. So if you're looking to get the cheapest thing you can, this is probably for you. If you're looking for something you won't have to replace for ages... you might want to get something a bit sturdier. (Like a small footstool or something.)

2Not ergonomic for me!Dec 01, 2011
By April Sumner
Unlike other reviewers, I had little trouble with the quality of the product. What I found after about a year of using it is that I have more back pain and shoulder pain than I did before. I realized that having my feet at such an angle was enough to push me back in my chair just enough that it caused a slight reaching for the keyboard. I am going to try a flat, or less angled one next.
