1Looks beautiful until you try to FOLD itJan 20, 2003

okay, so I bought this paper to produce tri-fold brochures. I will agree with the other reviewer that it prints beautifully. BUT - as soon as you try to fold it, it cracks and the top glossy layer of paper peels away like a bad sunburn. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PAPER AGAIN. I have tried it in every possible direction in my printer but it is just very poorly scored. Do yourself a favor - buy regular glossy paper for one third the cost and fold it yourself - I guarantee it will work better.

5Prints great ... looks greadMay 20, 2011

We have been using the HP 48lb trifold glossy brochure paper for a number of years to promote our church and preschool. Assuming a good quality inkjet printer is used, the finished product looks professional. Some reviews indicate a change in the paper and issues with folding. We have not had this problem. Although the box the paper comes in changed about a year ago (the new box falls appart easily) the paper has not significantly changed. The paper is still made in Germany. Keep in mind that the paper is designed to fold in one direction, away from the scored side, so be careful which way you load the paper

5HP brochure trifold paperDec 23, 2009
By Thomas E. Contri
This is the greatest thing for those who have to print a limited number of brochures due to periodic changes, dates, times, cost, etc, I wish they had this years ago as we have thrown away a lot of old brochures and cost. The results are very professional looking.

5Professional QualityMar 11, 2002
By Stacy I. James
I just started my own business so I have a very tight budget. I used this paper on my Canon BJC-2000 using the highest quality print mode and my brochures look like they came from a professional printers. Slow on my printer but the quality is beautiful. The paper is so sleek and classy.

1Not well thought outOct 19, 2010

I like the glossiness of the paper and the way the brochures look prior to being folded. All that flew right out the window when I tried to fold them into brochures. The scoring is not the best idea. When I tried folding one way, I wound up with ripped edges. When I tried folding the other way, I wound up with the middle of the brochure being too wide and not presenting correctly. In my opinion, there should not be any scoring at all. Would have been better if there were indentations in the paper without the actual scoring. The scoring causes the paper to tear too easily. I ended up wasting over half the box. The only reason the other half wasn't wasted was because I took extra time to fold each individual brochure in a completely different place than where it was originally scored. Waste of time, ink and money!! Will NOT purchase again!
