Description:

The Georgia-Pacific SofPull premium paper towel roll, 1-ply center-pull can be used for drying hands, kitchen applications, or general-purpose cleaning and drying. It dispenses fully open, which makes the towel suitable for any washroom or medium-duty kitchen tasks in high-traffic food-service, food processing, maintenance, general manufacturing, and healthcare facilities. It is made from 1-ply paper that reduces waste, and has a white color. Each perforated sheet is 7.8" wide. The paper towel roll has a center-pull design to allow one-handed dispensing of towels from the roll's center, which reduces cross-contamination.

Georgia-Pacific manufactures tissue, pulp, paper, packaging, building products, and paper-related chemicals. The company, founded in 1927, is headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

2This is Probably My Own Fault, But...Sep 11, 2012

Like the title suggests, this is probably partially my own fault; but I did a ton of research trying to find paper towels for my Georgia-Pacific SofPull 58205 Translucent Smoke Paper Towel Dispenser Trial Kit with 2 Rolls of Paper Towels (purchased here on Amazon), and in the 'items suggested for you' section, these paper towels were the ones suggested for my model. Come to find out, the roll is to thick to fit in the unit. Meaning, the high capacity rolls have too much paper towel on them to fit in my model. So, I had to unroll 1/4 of the roll until it would fit. This was a complete pain in the butthole. I checked the reviews, the description, and the terrible Georgia Pacific website, and there is no mention of this roll not fitting in my paper towel model. So as far as I am concerned, they receive 80 % of the blame, while I will absorb 20%.

In terms of quality, I wish the paper towels we a little bit better. They are super thin, and O.K. in terms of absorbency. Honestly, if they made a better paper towel, I would be much happier, because as it stands, these are really too thin and cheap to satisfy my needs.

I purchased this dispenser and paper towels for home use in my kitchen. I thought it would be infinitely more convenient, and I had a great place to mount it. Unfortunately, it really has been nothing but a big let down; and now the really cheap quality of the paper towels just sort of adds to the whole thing. For a bathroom at a department store, I suppose these would be fine, but for my kitchen, I just need better quality.

Order this item regularly and love using it. Kids can pull the towels out just as easily as adults. Some reviews complain about absorbency but these towels are pretty absorbent considering the capacity and usage. Definitely not your typical kitchen paper towel, but they are more absorbent than the brown towels you usually see.

I have tried several pull-type towels and this is the one I have been looking for. Each towel comes out easily, one at time. Because of the quality, one towel is all a customer needs to get dry their hands- great value.

These paper towels are a perfect fit for the Georgia-Pacific SofPull 58205 Translucent Smoke Paper Towel Dispenser Trial Kit with 2 Rolls of Paper Towels

Installation is a breeze, simply pull out the inner cardboard core, drop in your dispenser, and pull the first sheet from the center of the roll through the opening in your dispenser.

The towels are not as soft as a kitchen paper towel, but are perfect for drying hands or cleanup jobs. They stay strong when wet. you wouldn't want to blow your nose on one though. These are more the 'industrial' type of towel.

I ordered the product without knowing the brand of the dispenser (not labeled), and therefore no idea which poduct number of roll to select.
Delivery was less than desired: Product was delivered without any protection from the rain. I just happened to see it on my doorstep right after it started raining, and was able to save it from being damaged. A couple of the rolls in the box had to dry a little bit. When ordering replacement rolls when you do not know which rolls or size to buy, be advised of this: The 15" dimension refers to the length of each towel between perforations (no impact on the size requirement) and the 7.8" refers to the width of the roll which will be installed vertically in the dispenser. I was glad I only ordered the standard capacity of 320 sheets per roll, because a higher capacity roll would not have fit my dispenser. Bottom line is, with some help from talking with the Georgia-Pacific people I was lucky, and got just what I needed. I had been all hung up on the 15" dimension thinking it would be too bit to fit my unit.
