This is a very good price for long lasting batteries. I've never had a problem with these and the alkalines last a very long time. I've never seen these leak as compared to other batteries that I've used.

For a long time I have purchased Duracell Batteries in various sizes.
Over the last year I have been experiencing a severe and disturbing number of battery failures due to acid leaking from the batteries. I have had to replace the batteries prematurely and spent valuable time trying to clean the contacts of several items that I have had them in. Today was the icing on the cake! I had a very valuable Dakota Alert Driveway Motion Detector with the wire corroded off due to another of the problematic Duracell AA Batteries. This is the second or third time I have contacted them to report the battery problems. They took all the information from me regarding the unit and advised I would need to send it in for review. And if it was the battery that was at fault that damaged the unit they would replace it. I advised it only needed repaired and I would send it to Dakota Alert. They advised they did not do that. I advise then it was very obvious since the wire had been attacked by the battery acid and corroded. I then asked how long the review would require? I was advised at least 6 weeks! "For a review!" I advised that was untimely regarding customer service and advised no thank you! And hung up the phone. The last time I had a product almost damaged beyond repair they sent me a package of batteries.
I will pay for the repair myself at Dakota Alert and there will be no further purchases of any Duracell product.

I have used Duracell AA batteries a lot and in my opinion, they last pretty well with most electronic devices. However, their are some electronics that the batteries do not last well in. Such electronic devices would be CD and cassette players.

Duracell is a good brand, and I recomend them to anyone, but you might also want to look into getting recharchable's. They are better for the environment cause you use less plus you save money also.

"WARNING: I purchased 4 AA batteries for 11.84 (incl Shipping). In addition they don't come in the duracell packaging and I now know why. I put them in my Sweeper and it appears that the batteries has lost A LOT of its energy. I decided to put them in my nephews piano and it was confirmed these batteries needed energy. I don't know if they gave me used batteries, but these batteries operated as if they were. I contacted the company and nothing was done to resolve my issue. That's o.k. it's only $11.84, I will work 1.5 hours to make that back. On my way to K-Mart to get batteries that works. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
