Highly Recommend This HeadphoneSep 25, 2007

We have purchased over 300 of these headphone sets and have been extremely pleased. They are inexpensive and provide quality voice and audio when using VoiP (Voice over Internet Protocol), for Skype, Elluminate Live!, Yahoo Instant Messenger, and other software programs that require a microphone and speakers.

They are just plug in and use, which often is not the case with the USB headphones that often will require a reboot to use them for a chat session.

I have been impressed with the voice quality because it is clear and often more expensive headsets do not stand up to the quality of this item.

We have not experienced any issues with functionality as of yet. If you are looking for a good quality no frills headset for Skype, Elluminate Live!, Instant Messenging, or other VoIP software then this will be a nice choice. We have found it cheaper though - do a WWW search to get the best price.

Many of faculty at our institution like this headset because it is one size fits all and it fits over the ear. Thereby there is not problem with adjusting it and your hair getting caught and having to pull out a few strands - ouch! Also it is comfortable and you don't feel like your head is being squeezed by ear muffs.

I bought these headphones to use in place of the cheaper version that come with my Dragon disk, and I just lurve them! Better sound and voice quality, more comfortable, better construction that will definitely last longer. I would pay far more for quality like this.

Inline mute control worked just once - in never worked the second time.
Microphone did not work at all (and I've bought this model for its microphone). At first I thought it was software problem, but then I took a different microphone model from my friend and it worked perfectly on my computer.
Don't buy this model.

Update: the headphones still work faithfully after 2 years of regular use. I would change my rating of this model to "3" if I could.

I brought 2 of these as the previous one I had stopped working on the left channel. I like the way they fit on my head and the neckband style is really nice. I would definitely buy them again.
