5This thing is better than TI-84+Feb 28, 2010
By A. Hassan
It's fast.
It's easy to use.
It does lot of stuff like equations, fractions and imaginary numbers (a+bi).

I like it because it's faster than TI-84, and it's also human friendly.
you can write any question like the one in your book.

5Amazing Calculator at a Great PriceSep 12, 2010
By Kade
I've used the yellow "School property" TI-84s at my old school all the time, but when I moved and found out I had to buy a graphing calculator, I didn't want to shell out 110 bucks for one. So I found this one at Best buy for 70 bucks, and after a long debate with myself, chose it instead of the TI-84 SE. I'm glad i picked the Casio!

After a two hour session of pre-calc work, i've noticed the buttons have a faster and more accurate action than the 84, and while it feels a tad bit cheaper, it has a much more organized user interface and is a lot zippier, The backlight is a nice feature as well, although I don't see too much of a need for it as I do homework in good lighting. I like how their is a graphical menu as well, which I find makes it easier to get to where you need to be faster. Another nice feature is that it doesn't replace what you've typed in if you want to insert an integer or variable you forgot, which annoyed the hell outta me on the 84. Everything just makes more sense to me on this calculator. And if you want CAS, there's an add-on floating around the web that adds that feature. The only major downside is that there is no Mac version of the calculator software, but virtual pc can fix that in no time. Don't let that discourage you though, this is one kick ass calculator!

***A little warning to ex TI-84 users:
I found this calculator frustrating for the first ten minutes I used it while I was trying to figure out where everything was, as the layout is just a smidge different than the TI-84, but after that you start to realize just how well thought out this calculator is.

5Casio forever!Feb 22, 2011
By girlie4zuz
A couple of years ago I had a TI-89 Titanium that was later stolen. I had to get a new graphing calculator for my precalc class, but TI's are over $100.00. During high school I had at one time replaced my "Ti-30 whatever" with a Casio fx115 and thought it was a lot more calculator for less money. This calculator is at highest $99 and I bought it here for $55. So far I am having the same experience as before. The calculator is much more user friendly, with fewer sub-menus. My precalc book is written with an index specifically for TI-84 and I can perform every function faster than anyone in my class, and they have instructions in the text book how to do it. To date there is only one problem that the keys were not intuitively labled, but the calculator comes with a CD ROM instuction manual (great for the environmentally conscious) and all I did was type in the search bar what I wanted to do and issue resolved. Unlike the TI's which it took me a week or more just to learn all the menus, this calculator has several more function keys for faster navigation. The screen is wider and sharper than TI and it has a back light. Why TI graphing calculator is the standard has got to be nothing but beauracracy. I won't even consider a TI if I ever need to replace this calc. (I am actually "girlie4gzuz's" husband who bought this calculator with her account.)

5Full Function Graphing Calc for HS MathNov 22, 2010
By Gary K
This calculator has all of the functions needed for the Honors HS math classes and was easy to set-up and learn. The product arrived promptly and within minutes was in-use. The calculator has all the functions of the TI at only a portion of the costs and is easier to use.
