5Worked like a charmApr 06, 2007

I used this case in the Bahamas recently and didn't have a bit of problem. I took it down with a paper towel inserted just in case it leaked. When I finished my dive the paper towel was dry and I inserted my camera. I took it along on my next dive and have some great pictures. I did lose my first set of weights. However, that was because I didn't tighten the screw with a screwdriver. The next set was properly tightened and stayed on the camera case.

5Worth Every Penny !!!Apr 17, 2007
By J Kenner
I purchased my Canon camera with the intetion of buying the waterproof case, we do a lot kayaking and snorkeling and now diving. The case was GREAT !!! We just got back from Jamaica and being able to take these wonderful pictures and have them in the quality of a digital camera and not that of a disposable was fantastic. Also being able to download our pics every night and look at them was pricless.

We went to Dunns River Falls and I was taking shot after shot while the other people without a case could only look on as I captured everything.

On my dive ( my first ) I got many beautiful shots even though I was really more concerned about making sure that I kept breathing. :)

I even had some other divers approach me under water and ask me to get a shot of them !!!

The controls are well placed and easy to use, the hood for the LCD is great, well worth the money.

5Canon WP-DC2 Waterproof Camera Case for Canon a540Sep 23, 2007
By Jason M. Miller
I purchased this case a month ago and have used it several times in salt water. The case allows you to make all the same adjustments underwater that you would without the case. The only problem I have run into is that you must be familiar with the camera as the camera's buttons/settings are difficult to see through the case. The view window and lens window are crystal clear. There does not appear to be any rust on the few stainless steel parts of this case. I have not tested this item to a depth greater than 5ft but the seal and case appear to be sufficient for the advertised depths. Only suggestion I have for any future consumers is to buy silica gel packets to put inside the camera case during use. If it is humid outside when you seal the case and the temperature in the case gets hot enough you can begin to see moisture accumulate on the interior surfaces. Overall, a great product albeit a little expensive.

5No Boundaries in the waterJan 22, 2007

Enjoy a trip with pictures uninhibited by moisture and sand that will last a life time.

My snorkeling trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico during the Christmas season continues to be the best picture on the trip.

Many coral and reef pictures surrounded by brightly colored fish enhanced the value of the trip while using the Canon WP-DC2 Waterproof case.
