I was in the market to replace my DVD player with a blue-ray player. I decided to upgrade my HDMI cable first as my original cable was not capable of 1080P. It took quite some time and research to find this out and by accident. The cheaper HDMI cables seem to not include this fact on their packaging. This cable is fully capable of 1080P. Once installed, the picture from my upscale DVD player was night and day. Let me state my TV is only 108I and not 1080P. I could actually see a huge difference in details especially with animation movies. Example: Disney's Monsters with the original cable would show the hair on the characters as fuzzy and move in one motion. The new cable showed the individual hairs on the characters moving in their own directions. When I watch any animation movie or one that uses CGI heavily, it's like watching an all new movie due to the high level of detail, you catch and absorb so much more. I can only imagine how much detail I would have lost using my original HDMI cable. I feel confident once I upgrade to a 1080P TV, I won't be losing any details. The connectors have a heavy duty build and the cable itself is thick and very flexible, no questions in quality here.

As my need for additional HDMI cables grow, this will be the only one I will buy for it's build quality and signal quality to the TV.
