The C-1312 is another well designed Channel Vision product. It will accept any unit (modem, ethernet switch, etc) up to 1.75" by 11.5" and hold it tightly in place. It is built to stand off from the back of the media panel by 1.25"+ to allow wire and cables to be routed behind to go to other components mounted below it. It is compatible with Leviton Media Panels.

I bought this to mount a DLink DGS-1024 Gigabit 24 port switch in my Leviton structured media enclosure. It works. There are little wing-nuts that let the bracket clamp on whatever product you are trying to hold. In my case, the bracket needs to be opened up all the way in order to clamp on the 24-port switch.

When you open the bracket all the way up, the little black push-rivets are not accessable. Like I said, it works but it is also a very clumbsy product. I'll keep it because I bought it sight unseen. Had I been able to fiddle with one in-hand before buying, I would have found something else.

This is an excellent holder for various gear like a switch (netgear GS series, for example). The item being held should be fairly rectangular, though Channel vision was thoughtful in that they incorporated lips on the lower edge to help retain products in addition to some foam strips. The depth of the holder is quite adjustable accommodating a wide range of boxes, though it can be hard to get to the adjustment knobs once the holder has been installed inside an enclosure (or perhaps I have big fingers?)

Also note that this is one of the Channel Vision products that cannot be installed in a stock enclosure with a grid lifter underneath if you intend to fit a door or an enclosure cover. Usually, that is not necessary, so this is just a FYI. Additionally, Channel Vision does offer some sort of device to make an enclosure deeper if that's really necessary.
