5Missing channels revealed!Oct 02, 2007

I was having problems with my cable boxes not displaying channels 002-099 reliably. Most of the time they didn't come in at all, even though they are the basic channels.

I plugged in the Channel Vision amplifier where the cable enters the house, and like magic, all the missing channels began displaying on all the cable boxes with clear, static-free reception. Even my cable internet connection is more reliable.

I should have picked this up a long time ago, as it would have spared me much frustration dealing with the cable company customer support over the years. Great product.

This is a pretty powerful RF Amp that should satisfy all but the largest of distribution systems. Its bi-directional and has return path support for cable boxes and cable modems. In fact, unless you really have a poor signal or have long runs through splitters, etc, then this may be too much amplification. Channel Vision also makes a 10 dB version as well.

This is a sturdy unit and mounts easily in an enclosure. The connectors are good quality, and is remote power capable via a power injector. Probably not a necessary feature for inside a structured wiring cabinet.
