Any version of the non-laminated tape is great. What I do notice is that it has a "shiny" finish that does not detract from reading it, but it really allows for wear. I use this to label our public computers and for paper and hanging files. Love the label maker, too! Compatible with Brother P-touch.

Glibness aside, I've actually enjoyed this. It's great for doing small network jobs and keeping cables organized. The cartridge is a bit pricey, but worth it. Sticks and stays stuck till you want it unstuck. Pretty good arrangement.

Bought this to go with my old (about 10 years) Brother PT-85 P-Touch labeler. This one is black print on yellow tape to stand out against any color surface. Used it so far to label the drawers on my large rolling tool cabinet; easier than having to open numerous drawers while searching for tools. Fits and works perfectly. Nice to know I can still get these cartridges at a good price for this old printer.
