It says Brother on the box, but it doesn't work like the original cart that delivered with the printer...
It chews printer paper and turned a flawless machine into a trouble paper eater.

I'm very happy with the decision to buy a Brother laser-printer that has printed thousands of pages without replacing the cartridge. If you don't need color ink - and want a cartridge that lasts and lasts- this is a great choice.

My husband and I are both students, so we print a lot of papers. I have a Brother MCF 8680 DN. I bought this in October and I have to change it out now and it is March. It only lasted me around five months. However, I did find that if you shake it when the printer says out of toner, then it will print for a bit longer. I am going to try the TN-650 next to see if that lasts longer since this one is only for 3,000 pages and the other is for 8,000 pages.

I might be tempted to try a refilled cartridge, but I'm concerned about what others have written about their bad experiences, and with the discounted price by buying through Amazon, it just wouldn't be worth it to stray from Brother original parts. What I received was exactly as advertised, a factory replacement cartridge made by Brother. It works perfectly.
