Ok I've had these for about a month now and oh my god are they bad. You absolutely get what you pay for and then some. I didn't have enough money to spend on a decent set so I went with these, to some extent because of the reviews that I read here. They sounded fine for a day or two but they quickly deteriorated as I listened at somewhat high volume. High volume meaning driving on the highway with windows down and being able to clearly hear the music. I don't usually write reviews but these are so bad and they broke so quickly that it's unacceptable eve for the price. Do yourself a favor and get something more decent.

i installed these in my 89 dodge lancer and they sound great. the tweeters hit the mids and highs pretty well, but the speaker cone distorts a little at high bass levels. still, these are great speakers for only being like $25

This was installed in a 1986 AMC Eagle with the original digital am/fm cassette player. It was an easy install and it sounds good.

5.25" is a round speaker, not as the picture. And there are 2 in a box, so now I have 8 of them. nice. sound good though. nothing spectacular but better than my blown out stock speakers.
