5all right by me !!!Jul 04, 2009
By Matthew G. Sherwin
At-A-Glance makes a fine telephone and address book for people like me who, despite the computer age, just don't feel comfortable trusting all their contact information onto a computer hard drive. I still love to have a book into which I can write people's addresses and phone numbers!

The wire binding that attaches the cover and back of the book is pretty well made and the space for each entry is more than sufficient. For example, I can easily write in nine digit zip code numbers; and there's enough space for writing in a new phone number if somebody changes their phone number and I need to make an update. It does hold just about 800 entries, too; and that's way more than I'll ever need. Considering the way they manufacture this book and how careful I am with it, this should last me several years at least.

I can't really think of many negatives to say about this telephone number and address book. It may be nonrefillable; but with room for 800 entries it's good for most people. It's also the right size if you want to travel with it and the quality of the paper is certainly more than sufficient. I highly recommend this address and phone book.

5Old-fashioned address bookApr 04, 2009
By Linda Rae Williams "Rae"
If you are looking for a good old-fashioned address book, this is it. Sturdy, lots of space, tabbed nicely. Perfect.

5Does what I needSep 19, 2009

I needed an address book, and this one was great since it has individual letter entries, and not ones that are grouped together (blame it on my obsessive need for things to be in order!)Doesn't have any frills, but I don't think it needs to. Works for me.

2Nice..But just not enoughOct 02, 2011

I have had a TimeLine directory for about 9 yrs...it has been everything I needed..but the front cover tore off the other day when it got caught in the drawer...so I went looking for a new one...went to the office supply stores and none seemed to fit my needs....I just want one like I had....some of the letters I keep alot of names in and they are almost full...but with this new directory it only had room for 32 names per letter...advertised as a 800 entry book...which I really needed one in the same size book (5X8) that would hold 42 like mine.. or more... I really hated to down size and loose names..and didnt want to go to a 3 ring binder type...as I use this for work and for me...for the price I would think it should be twice this size...I guess I will just hold on to it and use it for work only. It doesnt seem to be made as well as my book..they scrimped on the wire binding loops that hold the pages in the book..they are small loops and are tight on the page so when you flip the pages it wears the paper out so your pages will get worn pretty fast if you use it alot and fall out...then you will be back to buy a new one.....I just think you should get more for what you pay for this...I give it a 3 stars for quality...but value for the price 2 stars..

The weight of the paper is near onion-skin. I cannot imagine it being able to withstand steady use.
