5Handy around the houseOct 20, 2011

I use these in a few places around the house. I keep one inside a kitchen cabinet door to keep recipes I need to refer to again and again. They're also good for checklists in my son's room to help him (and me!) keep to a good routine. A dry-erase marker works fine on them.

Scotch is another great company that keeps evolving its products over time. From the recent invention of shipping tape) that you can tear with your bare hands, this Plastic Display Pocket is worth displaying.

The plastic is strong, hard, and able to hang a number things indoors. The interlocking fasteners are removable, and they ensure the plastic will hold up on fabric, most hard wall surfaces, and outdoors too.

Different size options [other than 8.5 x 11] would be nice, along with closure of the plastic. When hanging documents, such as permits outside the enclosure is not sealed, so the display should be hung horizontally or downward in case of inclement weather.

Not every award needs its own glass frame, so for those "in between" school awards (i.e., in between the fridge and the frame), I've been using these plastic display pockets. My son is somewhat impressed (he's 12, nothing that isn't gross impresses him much) by the display, and I'm extremely pleased not to have his awards and certificates torn up because they have been taped over, spilled on, ripped up, yellowed by air exposure, or simply lost. Recommended.

This rigid plastic display pocket works well for displaying a child's artwork or certificate. The durable plastic sleeve is completely transparent. If you want to mount something on a refrigerator, sticky tape is included in the package. All in all, it does what is advertised.

I found this very useful to post messages on my office door. It looks more profession than taping messages to the door. I leave a blank paper in the display when I have nothing to post. The interlocking fasteners make it easy to take down the display to insert paper, but I tend to leave it up all the time. You could take down the display and just leave the fasteners in place, but I don't like the way this looks.

I'm a big fan of 3M removable fasteners. I trust that the fasteners will come off cleanly if I decide to take the display down based on other 3M fasteners I've used.
